WATERTIGHT CONNECTOR
Water must never enter the connectors or come into contact with metal parts. Sea water, in particular, will cause irreparable damage to metal parts.
This is why the connector must be rinsed with fresh water, then dried thoroughly, before being disconnected from the battery.
BATTERY
Your battery uses lithium-ion technology, giving you an excellent range-to-weight ratio.
However, it's normal for battery performance to drop slightly with each charge and discharge cycle. A completely discharged battery can be irreparably damaged. We plan to cut off the electric assistance of your card when there is only 3% energy left in your battery. But an unused battery will gradually run down, even if it's not plugged in.
A heavily discharged battery should therefore be quickly recharged.
When not in use for several months, your battery should be stored at a charge level of between 50 and 75%. This will extend its life as much as possible. In fact, a battery stored at full charge sees its performance degrade more rapidly.
The battery should be stored in a cool, dry place (but protected from frost), out of direct sunlight and away from any source of heat.
