I've just spent 3 weeks on vacation surfing with my new 9' electric board. I've never caught so many waves in 3 weeks. After 50 years and far from the waves all year round, electric assistance is a real comfort and a real plus for getting back into the swing of things without going through the "I'm dead in 15 minutes and not a wave" or "it's loose, there's juice, I'm not going! It's like electric mountain biking, before you try it you say "it's for lazy people, it's not a real sport", afterwards you say "it's great, I've discovered new spots and I've come home dry".

Saved by Kahe electric surf!

With my kAhe surf 8 I can finally start surfing again. For reasons of age and chronic illness, I no longer had the strength to surf. When I reached the peak, after rowing, I had no strength left to get on my board. Thanks to Kahe surf's electric propulsion system, I can now paddle with help, and finally get back on my surfboard and feel the sensation of any surfboard of this size again. Why is it a real surf? Because when the wave propels us and we're standing on the surfboard, the electric motor stops automatically and we surf on the wave's energy alone! Fantastic!

How exactly does electric assistance work during a surf session?
